The Freedom Press bookshop is Britain’s largest anarchist bookshop, stocking thousands of books, newspapers and pamphlets on history to sex, philosophy to workers’ struggles, fiction to anti-fascism, as well as the latest magazines, periodicals and newsletters from all the major anarchist and radical groups. We also stock an extensive range of political t-shirts, badges, CDs, DVDs, posters and Zapatista coffee.
We can order and post you any books in print – please phone or e-mail for availability/prices.

We also have a large amount of free material, and a small second-hand section with low, low prices! The nearest tube station is Aldgate East, take the Whitechapel Art Gallery exit, or buses 25, 205 and 254 stop nearby (see map below).

We now take orders and payments online. This includes all titles published by Freedom Press currently in print. To purchase a book online simply follow the link above then click on the Add to cart button next to the desired title. Shopping cart details and check out link will appear in the top right corner of the screen. You will receive a confirmation email as soon as the order has been processed.

All books purchased online are delivered free within the UK. For overseas orders you can email the shop for postal charges.
